Wow, I'd completely forgotten about this blog. I was actually trying to log in for a school project, when I was redirected to this user's profile page. I read that one post, oh how lonely it must have been, and I was instantly reminded of the spirit in which I wrote that first post. I wanted to fill the space with things I liked. Music videos, pretty pictures, interesting websites, or whatever I found interesting at that moment. Unfortunately, like most of the projects I start, this blog never really took off.
It does seem very easy, doesn't it? Just writing about things you like. You actually feel a bit like a pioneer, as if you're about to create some sort of groundbreaking, innovative web page that will earn the admiration of millions of people. Foolish, of course. There are two kinds of websites. On one hand, there are the interesting, popular sites, and on the other hand, there is the useless garbage; a waste of our precious cyberspace. I now realise that it doesn't really matter. It's actually easier to add to the garbage. You don't have to make any commitment at all. So if you're bored with it, you can just forget about it and move on. Nobody will notice, except maybe you, when you stumble on your page accidentally in a couple of months' time.
I wonder when I'll get to that next post..
In the meantime:
